How to install WordPress Plugin?
WordPress is a full-fledged Content Management System (CMS), and there are some technical things we need to know when we start using WordPress, one of which is to know how to install WordPress plugins.
There are mainly 3 different ways to install WordPress Plugins that can install plugins.

- Upload and Install Plugins from WordPress Admin Method:
- Install Plugin from FTP Method:
#1. Search and install:
One of the ways to install plugins on WordPress is to search and install. The easiest way to install plugins is from the WordPress dashboard. If you know the name of the plugin, you can search and install it directly by typing the name of the plugin in the search bar of the dashboard.
To install a plugin from the dashboard, first you need to go to the WordPress admin area and go to the “Plugins” option in “Add New” and type the name of the plugin in the search bar.
Entering the name of the plugin will open a list of plugins on the screen in front of you. Click on “Install Now” option to install. When installing any plugin, make sure that the plugin is compatible with your WordPress version, and be sure to read the documentation when installing any plugin.
After clicking Install Now, click the “activate” option.
Now you need to go to the settings panel and make the necessary changes. After installing any plugin, it is very important to configure it properly.
#2. Upload and Install Plugins from WordPress Admin:
This method is used to install and upload general third party or premium plugins. You cannot install premium or third party plugins from the first method.
If you have downloaded the Plugin from another location, you can install the .zip file directly from the WordPress dashboard.
In the dashboard, go to the “Add New” plugins and click on the “Upload Plugin” option and to find the .zip file, click on the chosen file and browse to the drive.
All you have to do is use .zip format to use this method. Other than that, no other format will be supported here.
#3. Install Plugin from FTP Method:
This method will work for you if you cannot install WordPress Plugin from the WordPress dashboard.
To upload a file using the FTP method, you need to download the FileZilla FTP software. After that, it has to be activated and configured.
You simply download the plugin from the WordPress plugin library and unzip it and upload it to the WordPress plugin library using FTP software. Normally the plugin upload folder is located in wp-content/plugins, here you unzip your new plugin.
After uploading the file, you can activate the plugin by going to the WordPress Plugins folder in the WordPress Dashboard.
This method is very important for uploading plugins when you cannot upload any plugins because of server restrictions.
They use the above two methods for uploading plugins, sometimes it is necessary to use FTP method.
To manage WordPress Plugins, you can activate and deactivate plugins by going to the WordPress dashboard.
Sometimes there are some issues with your site after installing a plugin, this is because your installed plugin is not compatible with your WordPress version, so you can send it to your friends in the dashboard. Login with FTP and deactivate that plugin.
